It's now been roughly a month of working out on the TreadClimber and I can see results.  Nothing major on the actual lbs figure, but I've lost 2 inches off of my belly button and my hips, which translates to a slightly deflated muffin top.  Score!  This is my main problem area and to see it shrinking makes me feel awesome! My thighs have come down by an inch, which I'm not terribly worried about

I've returned to my German lessons on Rosetta Stone and I'm feeling very good after tonight's lesson.  All along I've been picking up words and putting together short sentences, but tonight I learned more words that are actually found in my house/yard so I can roam around speaking German and pointing at things to help with remembering. We've started rotating Gimli's toys because we became tired of seeing piles of toys strewn all over the house.  For now, we have a bin that sits in the office that holds the majority and about 5 or 6 toys are out at any time. One of my goals this year was to participate and complete a 5k. Its been a few days, but Gimli is on the mend.  We cleaned up his booboos with peroxide and polysporin and they are slowly going away... so long as he stays clear of them. He's back to his silly self and we are glad for it.

Yesterday, I came downstairs for a snack and I found Gimli like this... He was kind enough to stay still long enough for me to stifle my laughter and urge to pounce on that belly so I could grab the camera and steal a few pictures. If you look close enough, you can see a piece of his tongue sticking out.  Every once in a while, we'll find him with his tongue sticking out and turning blue.

Everyday as part of my breakfast I have two slices of whole wheat toast with margarine. There was another royal wedding yesterday, for Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall, but with none of the fanfare we saw for William and Catherine. My little corgi bear is a little under the weather this evening.  He was fine all day, but then had some icky poops this evening. He's playing and frapping like usual, just with some tummy troubles.  I gave him some pumpkin and hopefully that will help out his tummy troubles over the course of the night. Til the morning, we'll just take it easy and snuggle, snuggle and more snuggles.
