Gimli is our fluffy Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He was born in August 2008.
Here he is at 8 weeks.
Here is what he looks like now.
Yes, he is our dog, no he is not our baby/child/furkid etc. He's a clown and a talker and bear in corgi's clothing and he'll do just about anything for food. He's a coward. He'll bark and bark and bark so much so the other person will swear its a large German Shepherd behind the door; only they'll see shorty fluff standing there aching to give you kisses and leave copious amounts of hair all over your pants.
He has a strange fascination with heating vents of any kind. I have no idea why, but he likes staring at vents. Maybe he knows something we don't, I don't know.
Gimli is our practice dog. Meaning we made a great many mistakes with him when he was a puppy and we were just learning about the right sort of food, the right times to take him outside to use the bathroom and the right way to discipline him. We learned its a good idea to brush a fluffy on a regular basis, although that becomes difficult when you are home day in and day out and all your days meld into one long existence. We learned its perfectly normal to have conversations with your ever vocal corgi and people will not believe you when you tell them this until they hear Gimli with their own ears.
We've learned we have a pretty awesome doggie.
